On the 25th, China’s Wang Xiyu advanced to the women’s singles semifinals, while Zhang Shuai and Siniakova reached the doubles final.

Zhang Shuai, a two-time tournament champion, faced American player Pera on the 24th. Despite being broken first in the fifth game, Zhang Shuai wasted three consecutive break points and lost the first set 2-6. In the second set, Zhang Shuai’s condition did not improve, losing another set 2-6 and missing the women’s singles quarterfinals.
