Jennifer Lopez and ⁢Ben Affleck Meet with Celebrity ‍Divorce ⁤Lawyer Amid Divorce Negotiations

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, who filed for⁢ divorce in August,​ were recently spotted dining out⁢ with their children. The couple is reportedly ⁣still ‌in ​divorce negotiations and had⁤ a meeting with celebrity⁣ divorce lawyer Laura ​Wasser on September‍ 23rd.

According to⁢ TMZ, Jennifer and Laura arrived at the West Hollywood building ‌where⁤ Jennifer⁤ and Ben have their respective offices at almost the same time. Although Ben was​ not seen by paparazzi,​ his​ car was parked in his parking space. The⁤ two held their meeting not at ​either of their offices, but at a “neutral location” ⁤in the same building.

The couple filed for divorce exactly​ two years after ⁢their lavish wedding, and there is a possibility​ that the divorce will become a “muddy litigation” because​ they ‍did not have ‌a prenuptial agreement when they got married in 2022. Under California law, income and property during marriage are considered “communal property of‌ the couple” regardless of who earned it or purchased ​it. In the two‌ years, the two have each worked on several movies and purchased ⁢a mansion in Beverly Hills. Jennifer has also⁤ launched a cocktail brand.

Laura Wasser​ has previously ‌represented Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, and Kim Kardashian in their divorces, and also represented Ben when he divorced Jennifer⁢ Garner. It appears that Jennifer ​and⁣ Ben have been in discussions together about their divorce even before the divorce ⁢filing.
