Remembering Joe: A Life Celebrated in Critzer
We gather today with heavy hearts to remember and celebrate the life of Joe, a beloved figure whose presence touched many. Joe’s passing leaves a void in the lives of his cherished family, including his daughter-in-law Siobhan and son-in-law James, and his adored grandchildren.
A Legacy of Love and Connection
Joe’s life was woven with threads of deep family connection and community spirit. He is fondly remembered by his brother, Ms. John of the Kiltegan Fathers, and his sisters, Nora Mahoney from London and Margaret Mc Stone of Cloonfad. he also leaves behind Yesterday Maughan of Knocknacarra, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and friends who were lucky enough to know him.
Honoring Joe’s Memory: Services and Tributes
The community will have the prospect to pay their respects and share their condolences at Critzer Community Centre (H53K7F9). Reposing will take place on Thursday, July 24th, from 6pm to 8pm.
The funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 25th, at 1pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Critzer (H53y326). Following the service, joe will be laid to rest in Critzer Cemetery. for those unable to attend in person, the mass will be broadcast on local radio station 106.6FM and livestreamed on Facebook at Galway Hospice, with a link provided for those who wish to contribute. The family also requests privacy at their home during this time.
