Joey Bada$$ wants in on the Creed cinematic universe, and he isn’t looking for a cameo. Speaking with Ty Cole for the With Love talk series on Patreon, the rapper and actor made it clear that if he enters the boxing ring on screen, he wants to be a fighter.

Bada$$ is not interested in a peripheral appearance. He is eyeing a role that demands a physical presence, signaling a desire for the kind of athletic intensity that defines the franchise.

“I would love to play in Creed,” Bada$$ told Cole. “I’m open, you know what I’m saying? But, like, I definitely see myself playing a fighter.”

Expanding a Television Résumé

The move would be a strategic progression in a screen career already marked by appearances in Mr. Robot and Power Book III: Raising Kanan. By targeting a major studio franchise, Bada$$ is bridging the gap between his established music career and his trajectory in serialized dramatic acting.
