Responsibilities:

Project/Program Delivery

  • Lead medium to large-scale engineering projects.
  • Manage the entire project cycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Schedule regular project review meetings for transparency and alignment.

Planning

  • Develop and lead complex business cases, plans, and schedules.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive project schedule with key milestones.
  • Monitor project progress and address any deviations or delays.
  • Identify risks and propose strategies to keep projects on track.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders and hold them accountable for commitments.
  • Establish effective relationships by understanding stakeholder needs.
  • Negotiate solutions while keeping project goals in mind.

Communications

  • Provide regular schedule updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency.
  • Familiarize with standardized tools and provide feedback for standards development.

Risk Management

  • Approach risk management from project to strategic levels.
  • Solve problems using lateral thinking and team engagement.
  • Monitor projects utilizing defined management frameworks.

Resource Management

  • Resolve resource and budgetary issues with teams and suppliers.
  • Track project expenses and ensure adherence to the budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of costs and expenses.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in engineering project management.
  • Experience in a critical facility or data center is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet or similar tools; MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Project Management certification is a bonus.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish/English skills are a plus.
