Position Overview
- Hybrid Role: Requires flexibility, not full-time presence in the office.
Responsibilities
- Implement functional strategies and manage programs.
- Counsel and advise management using expert judgment.
- Design, develop, and implement technical products and systems.
- Resolve complex technical issues and conduct advanced research.
- Recommend design improvements to enhance product quality.
- Perform multiple tasks and lead the work of others.
- Use personal experience to plan and achieve goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in chassis or thermal product engineering and analysis.
- Knowledge of various steering types and components.
- Ability to create engineering solutions for steering in vehicles.
- Understanding of vehicle dynamics, kinematics, and interfaces.
- Conduct physical and functional integration work and performance assessments.
- Knowledge of steering performance requirements (e.g., c-factor, noise paths).
- Investigate previous program health for issue resolution in new designs.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of validation processes.
- Knowledge of mechanical mechanisms and engineering principles.
- High analytical ability for problem-solving.
- Proficiency in project management.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence others.
- Capability to legally operate a motor vehicle.
