Jon Bon Jovi Shares Bruce Springsteen Stories as Guest DJ on SiriusXM’s E Street Radio

Jon Bon Jovi will guest DJ on SiriusXM’s E Street Radio (Ch. 20). He will share his favorite Bruce Springsteen songs and stories about their friendship.

The guest DJ session airs on Monday, November 25, at 6 PM ET. It is also available on demand on the SiriusXM app.

During the session, Jon recalls his first experience of seeing The E Street Band live. He describes being at the Philadelphia Spectrum and witnessing Clarence Clemons’s powerful horn solo during “Spirit in the Night.” He remembers Bruce Springsteen performing from the third tier of the arena.

Jon also shares a memorable story about singing with Bruce in the late 1970s. He performed the song “Promised Land” with his first cover band, Atlantic City Expressway. As he sang, Bruce joined him at the microphone. Jon reflects on this moment, comparing it to a “Beatles moment” for a high school kid.
