Maraji Johnson, known as Death Sentence in teh Streetbeefs circuit, has challenged UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones to a sparring session. Johnson, who gained notoriety in backyard fighting, recently broke a losing streak after being coached by MMA legend Demetrious Johnson.
Despite Demetrious Johnson’s warnings, Death Sentence has set his sights on Jon Jones. “If he was in this room right now, I would swing on him,” Death Sentence said, adding, “Come to Charlotte and we can spar.” He stated that he no longer holds a grudge against jones but still desires to “beat his ass.”

Meanwhile, Jones’s potential fight against interim heavyweight titleholder Tom Aspinall remains up in the air.
