On March 7, 2026, Chiles earned a perfect 10 on the uneven bars during a competition against Stanford at Maples Pavilion in Palo Alto, California. This performance helped No. 5 UCLA secure a 197.775-197.425 victory over No. 10 Stanford.
Chiles won the all-around title at the March 7 meet with a score of 39.700. In addition to the all-around win, she took home individual titles on both vault and bars. The perfect 10 on bars marked her sixth career perfect score on that apparatus and her sixth perfect score of the 2026 season.
UCLA Team Performance and Records
The victory against Stanford saw UCLA achieve a season-high 49.575 total on the bars. The Bruins opened the afternoon with four marks of 9.900 or higher and five stuck landings.
Other notable performances during the March 7 meet included freshman Nola Matthews, who earned a career-high 9.950. Freshman Ashlee Sullivan and sophomore Mika Webster-Longin also recorded 9.900 marks with stuck landings.
The event was attended by a sold-out crowd of 6,834 fans, setting an attendance record for Stanford and marking the fifth road attendance record for UCLA during the current season. Regarding the support, freshman Tiana Sumanasekera stated, To know how many supporters we have – even when we’re traveling – is so big for us,
adding that the team enjoys bringing a party atmosphere to their road competitions.
2026 Season Milestones
The 2026 season has been marked by several firsts for Chiles. On January 25, 2026, she earned a perfect 10 on the floor exercise during a meet against Michigan State. This mark was the first perfect 10 on floor nationally for the 2026 NCAA gymnastics season and served as Chiles’ seventh career perfect score on the event.

One week prior to the floor exercise milestone, Chiles also achieved the first perfect 10 on vault of her career.
International and Collegiate Career Context
Chiles’ success in the NCAA is mirrored by her achievements on the international stage. She was a member of the gold medal-winning team at the 2024 Paris Olympics and the silver medal-winning team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
At the 2022 World Championships in Liverpool, Chiles won a team gold medal and earned individual silver medals in both the vault and floor exercise. She has been a member of the United States women’s national gymnastics team since 2013.
