Here’s a breakdown of the text, focusing on the answers to the questions posed:
1. Wilderness survival skills:
The speaker demonstrates a good understanding of basic wilderness survival. They describe:
* Shelter building: Knowing how to create an A-frame shelter using stripped bark adn a tarp.
* water Collection: Understanding condensation and how to create depressions to collect fresh water, avoiding the need to boil it.
* Overall Confidence: They believe they could survive “a fair while” in the wild, but acknowledge missing their family would be the biggest challenge.
2.Ideal Pet Size Change:
The speaker would change the size of a kangaroo to be only 15cm tall.
They explain their reasoning:
* Coolness Factor: They find kangaroos “cool animals.”
* Easy to Feed: They eat grass, making them relatively easy to provide for.
* Manageable Waste: Their droppings are “little pellet poos,” wich the speaker considers a non-issue.
* Specific Kangaroo Type: They want a miniature version of a big eastern gray kangaroo, not a smaller relative like a pademelon or wallaby.
The text also includes a promotion for a Guardian Australia newsletter (“Saved for Later”).
