Joshua Jackson, known for his role in the 1999 film “Cruel intentions,” recently recounted a memorable, and slightly embarrassing, experience from early in his career. The actor, now with over 25 years in the industry, still recalls the filming of one of his first on-screen sex scenes with a touch of humor and a hint of a blush.
Jackson played Blaine Tuttle in the Roger Kumble-directed teen drama, a modern take on “Dangerous Liaisons.” The “role” required him to engage in a brief same-sex encounter with co-star Eric Mabius. Years later, an unexpected meeting brought the memory rushing back.
“I wasn’t on cruel Intentions very much, but I do believe that my first day on this movie was giving a man head,” Jackson told MenS Health. “And that can be stressful for a 19-year old heterosexual boy, to sit in a room, and give another man a blowjob.”
Jackson said his “stress test” in the “role” was “to commit myself to this job that I had taken on,and really make sure… that I was all-in,so to speak.”
