Joskin Launches New Betimax RDS Livestock Trailer
Joskin Unveils new Livestock Trailer for Enhanced animal Comfort and Safety
Joskin,a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment, has expanded its livestock trailer lineup with teh introduction of the Betimax RDS. This innovative trailer, boasting a 6.75-meter long platform, can safely transport 8 to 10 cattle without exceeding maximum axle load limits. The Betimax RDS is available in two distinct versions: painted and fully hot-dip galvanized. The painted model features a non-slip loading platform constructed from ribbed sheet metal, ensuring both safety and comfort during transport.
“The ribbed design provides excellent traction for the animals, minimizing the risk of slips and falls,” said a Joskin representative.
The galvanized model takes animal welfare a step further with a three-component synthetic resin floor covering. This specialized surface reduces stress on the animals’ joints, making the journey more cozy.
Both versions of the Betimax RDS are designed for ease of loading and unloading. The ramps can be lowered to create a mere 17 cm step, practically invisible in the pasture. Full-width rear doors swing open completely, allowing for effortless animal egress.
Adding to operator convenience and safety, an optional feature automatically locks the rear doors in specific positions when opened. This prevents accidental closure and ensures a secure loading and unloading process.
