, is a married Indian man employed as a junior banker. He alleges that Hajdini coerced him into non-consensual and humiliating sex acts
over several months during 2024.
According to the legal filings, Hajdini allegedly admitted to drugging her co-worker with a date rape drug on multiple occasions to facilitate the abuse.
Allegations of Workplace Misconduct
The complaint states that the alleged harassment began in early or spring 2024 after Hajdini and the junior banker started working together. The lawsuit claims that Hajdini initiated the misconduct with inappropriate sexual advances and comments.
In one early interaction cited in the complaint, Hajdini allegedly made a sexual comment regarding the victim’s background in basketball. The filings further allege that she touched him inappropriately by rubbing his leg and squeezing his calf.
The lawsuit also describes a pattern of misconduct involving threats and pressure linked to the victim’s professional career.
Professional Background of Lorna Hajdini
Lorna Hajdini, 37, has been employed at JPMorgan Chase for nearly 15 years, having joined the firm in 2011. She rose to the position of Vice President in 2018 and was later promoted to Executive Director in Leveraged Finance in 2021.
In her role as Executive Director, Hajdini is responsible for advising private equity clients and companies on complex financing deals. Her work primarily focuses on the logistics, pharma, retail, and technology sectors.
Hajdini’s academic credentials include studies in Finance and Statistics at the NYU Stern School of Business. She also attended a Private Equity and Venture Capital program at Harvard Business School Executive Education.
Prior to her tenure at JPMorgan Chase, she completed internships at Tudor Investment Corporation and Glazer Capital Management.
JPMorgan Chase has denied the claims following an internal review of the allegations.
