Terrance Owens, 32, who worked within the JSO Communications Center since June 2025, was taken into custody. he is accused of traveling to meet a minor for sexual conduct, lewd and lascivious battery, human trafficking, and illegally using a two-way dialogue device.Additionally, Owens is charged with carrying a firearm while committing a felony.

JSO officials stated that Owens was immediately terminated from his position upon notification of the allegations.
