Juan Gabriel’s Musical Legacy Lives On at the National Cinematheque
Juan Gabriel’s Concert at Fine Arts to be Screened Again at the National Cinematheque
Mexico City, September 14 – Juan Gabriel, a unique and innovative artist, continues to shine in the musical legacy of Mexico, even eight years after his passing. The National Cinematheque recently screened his concert at Fine Arts, which was met with an overwhelming response from the public.
JuanGa at Cineteca was a joint brac where we summoned a dead person and pretended it wasn’t a recorded concert to demand: another, another. The natural tensions of living together and getting in each other’s way were tamed by Noa Noa. Usual Mexico is a surreal Mexico for us. pic.twitter.com/XAg7h256DE

The concert, titled “Mis 40 en Bellas Artes,” was held on August 31, 2013, at the Fine Arts Palace in Mexico City. During the event, Juan Gabriel celebrated his four decades of artistic career, performing almost 30 of his most memorable songs.

Too bad about the bad noise, but it was still a great experience. pic.twitter.com/tALd1xtNdO

This screening of JuanGa at Bellas Artes would flood the Cineteca also flood the Zócalo. Someone out there was shouting very patriotically: Long live Juan Gabriel! pic.twitter.com/6ESWrN1wwh
