Court Rejects Nadiem Makarim’s Pretrial Motion
Jakarta – The single judge at the South Jakarta district Court (PN Jaksel) rejected the pretrial lawsuit filed by the former Minister of Education and Culture Nadiem Anwar Makarim. In his considerations, the judge said that the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) named the suspect based on more than two pieces of evidence.
“Considering that,based on the matters described above,formally the respondent has four valid pieces of evidence according to the provisions of Article 184 of the Criminal Procedure Code as a basis for determining the applicant as a suspect,” said single judge I Ketut Darpawan in the main courtroom of the South Jakarta District Court,monday (13/10/2025).
“considering that based on the considerations that have been made above, the respondent’s action in determining the applicant as a suspect is legal according to law,” continued the judge.
