BOSTON – Aaron Judge shouldered the blame after the new York Yankees were swept by the boston Red Sox in a three-game series.The Red Sox capped the series with a 2-0 victory sunday,leaving the Yankees reeling.
Judge, usually a dominant force, admitted his struggles at the plate contributed to the team’s woes. He went 1-for-12 in the series and struck out three or more times in each game, marking only the third time in his career he has done so in three straight games. The Yankees’ offensive output was anemic, matching their lowest run total in a three-game series at Fenway Park since 1922, with just four runs scored.
