Park Sunghoo, director of “Jujutsu⁣ Kaisen,” is launching his original anime series, “Bullet/Bullet,” on Disney+.The post-apocalyptic anime adventure will be available exclusively on the streaming service.

“Bullet/Bullet” follows ⁢Gear, a junk dealer leading a double life as a thief. He teams up with Qu-0213, a robot with multiple personalities, and Shirokuma, a polar bear with a gambling problem. Together, they operate as elite thieves-for-hire. Their lives change when they rescue a mysterious girl, putting them at odds with the power structure of their society. The anime series promises high-stakes action and adventure.

Aki Kindaichi (“Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray”) wrote the script. Takahiro Yoshimatsu (“Future GPX Cyber formula,” “Hunter x Hunter”) handled character designs as chief animation director, while Hidetaka Tenjin (“Mobile Suit Gundam,” “Macross”) created concept and mechanical designs.

The voice cast includes Marina inoue (“Attack on Titan”) as gear,Kazuhiro Yamaji (“Psycho-Pass”) as Shirokuma,Rie Kugimiya⁢ (“Gintama,”⁣ “Fullmetal‍ Alchemist”) as Nosa-nee,and Kana Hanazawa⁢ (“Quintessential Quintuplets,” “Psycho-Pass”) as ‍Here.

Chanmina performs the opening theme, “Work hard,” ⁢and Tokyo rock band Newspeak provides the ending theme, “Glass Door.”

Disney+ will release the 16-episode series in two parts. The⁢ first⁢ eight episodes will be available on July 16, and ⁢the final eight ‍will arrive on August 13. The series joins other APAC originals on Disney+, including “Tokyo Revengers,” “Murai in Love,” “Phoenix: Eden17,”‍ “Medalist,” and the live-action thriller “Gannibal.”
