Juneteenth Celebrated as Federal Holiday‌ in 2025

Juneteenth, observed ⁢annually on June 19, is now⁢ in its fifth year as a U.S. federal holiday. The holiday commemorates the emancipation of enslaved​ African Americans and has been celebrated for over ‌150 years, primarily within⁣ Black communities.
