South Jakarta Court Sentences Father to Death for Killing Four Children

Jakarta, Indonesia – In a shocking verdict, the South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel) has sentenced Panca Darmansyah to death for the heinous crime of killing his four biological children in the Jagakarsa district of South Jakarta.

Presiding Judge Sulistyo M Dwi Putro delivered the verdict at the PN Jaksel Main Court on Tuesday, September 17, stating, “Accordingly, the defendant Panca Darmansyah is sentenced to death.”

The court found Panca Darmansyah guilty of murdering his four children and also convicted him of physical violence within the family. The judge emphasized that the defendant’s actions were premeditated and constituted a grave offense against humanity and justice.
