Justin Baldoni Harassment Accusation: “It Ends With Us” Star Claims Blake Lively Subpoena Issue

Justin Baldoni Harassment Accusation: “It Ends With Us” Star Claims Blake Lively Subpoena Issue

August 20, 2025 Marcus Rodriguez - Entertainment Editor Entertainment

‘It Ends With‍ Us’ Actress Accuses Director ‍of ‘Bullying’ Tactics ‍in Lively Legal Battle

Isabela Ferrer, who portrayed a younger version of Blake Lively’s ⁤character in⁢ the film adaptation of It Ends With Us, has alleged that director and co-star Justin Baldoni is⁢ employing harassing tactics through the use of subpoenas. Ferrer claims these legal maneuvers are intended to ⁣intimidate and control ‍her involvement in the ongoing legal dispute between Baldoni and Lively.

The situation began with ferrer being ⁢subpoenaed by Lively to‌ provide information related to Baldoni’s⁢ initial complaint. Baldoni subsequently issued ⁢his own⁣ subpoena to Ferrer,‍ prompting her ⁢to file a rebuttal‍ accusing him ‌of inappropriate conduct and ‌attempting ⁣to exert undue influence. Ferrer’s filing asserts that Baldoni pursued the motion to compel her testimony prematurely, without adequately attempting to locate her ⁢or determine her correct address.

Ferrer’s legal team argues ⁣that Baldoni’s actions represent a pattern of bullying behavior. They⁢ contend that, while ⁢Ferrer is prepared to fulfill her legal obligations, she will not be intimidated or coerced into participating in the proceedings beyond what is legally required. ‍ The complaint further details that Baldoni’s second‌ subpoena largely⁢ duplicates the requests made in Lively’s initial ⁢subpoena, suggesting an attempt to improperly control Ferrer’s involvement.

This development occurs as the legal battle between Baldoni and Lively continues, ⁤with a trial date currently set for March 2026. Previously,a ⁣judge‌ dismissed both initial lawsuits filed by the parties, finding Lively’s accusations⁣ of ‍sexual harassment to be legally protected.
