K-League 1 Surpasses 2 Million Cumulative Paying Viewers for Second Consecutive Year

The Korea Professional Football League announced on the 27th that K-League 1 has surpassed 2 million cumulative paying viewers for the second consecutive year.
The 32nd round of ‘Hana Bank K League 1 2024’ held today at 7:30pm saw Pohang Steelers vs Incheon United with 6,332 attendances for the season and 11,219 at Daejeon Hana for Citizens vs Ulsan H.D. The game had a total cumulative audience of 2,009,730.
Last year, K-League 1 recorded more than 2 million viewers for the first time in 10 years since the 2013 season and for the first time since switching to total paid attendance in the 2018 season.
K-League 1 saw the lowest game attendance since the launch of the promotion system, surpassing 2 million, with 2,004,89 spectators attending just 190 games last season.
K League 1 has consistently maintained attendances of over 10,000 since the start of this season and currently records an average attendance of 10,690.
Last season, the average attendance per game in K-League 1 was 10,733 and the total number of spectators was 2,447,147, which is the record for the highest attendance in a single season in K-League 1.
