K-Pop Makes History: Three Albums in Billboard 200 Top 10 for First Time
Three K-pop albums are in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart for the first time. ATEEZ’s album, GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2, debuts at No. 1. Jin’s album, Happy, debuts at No. 4. ENHYPEN’s album, ROMANCE: UNTOLD, re-enters at No. 7.
In 2023, 17 of the 97 albums that reached the Billboard 200’s top 10 were K-pop albums. Three of these albums peaked at No. 1: GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2, Stray Kids’ ATE, and TWICE’s With YOU-th.
Earlier in 2024, K-pop held the top two spots on the Billboard 200 chart for the first time. Stray Kids’ ATE and Jimin’s MUSE debuted at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.
