The song was released on September 4th at 0:00, along with an official lyric video that showcases the song’s unique worldview.
The lyric video features lyrics produced by ATEEZ’s MINGI, adding an extra layer of depth to the song’s meaning. “Royal” boasts a heavy sound and a tempo that varies from slow to fast, with aggressive lyrics that express the artists’ own idea of what “nobility” means.

This collaborative song “Royal” is the first release since “Hush-Hush” was released under the name of BE:FIRST x ATEEZ on July 1st. Since then, the two artists have deepened their friendship, with ATEEZ even inviting BE:FIRST to be the opening act at their Los Angeles concert.
ATEEZ is also set to release their fourth single “Birthday” in Japan on October 2. The title track “Birthday” was written specifically for this original Japanese single, and contains a message to face life fearlessly and enjoy every day like it’s your birthday.
