Kakao Pay’s New ‘KaPick’: Your Personalized Credit Card Experience
Kakao Pay has launched ‘KB Kookmin Card KaPick,’ the sixth ‘KaPick’ series in collaboration with KB Kookmin Card. This new offering provides users with discounts of up to 15% on online shopping.
With KB Kookmin Card KaPick, a 10% discount (up to 10,000 won) is applied based on the previous month’s card usage amount. Paying with KB Pay adds an extra 5% discount. Offline purchases also receive a 5% discount (capped at 10,000 won) based on the previous month’s spending.
Mobile communication bills see a 5% discount (up to 5,000 won) when automatically paid with KB Kookmin Card KaPick. OTT platforms and movie theaters offer discounts of 30% (up to 5,000 won) and 20% (up to 3,000 won), respectively.
To celebrate the launch, an event offering benefits worth up to 140,000 won is running until the end of the year. Customers using KB Kookmin Card KaPick under the Amex brand for a combined amount of 40,000 won or more during the promotional period will receive a 40,000 won Shinsegae gift certificate exchange voucher. Any KB Kookmin user with no personal credit card payment history in the six months preceding the event and holds a target card through an online channel can receive a 60,000 won cashback when spending a combined amount of 100,000 won or more.
Payments of 1,000 won or more at overseas affiliate stores accumulate 1,000 points per transaction (maximum of 20,000 won). New users who apply for automatic transfer of living expenses during November and complete their first payment will receive up to 20,000 won cashback.
