This result keeps England at the top of UEFA Qualifying Group K for the 2026 World Cup. Despite England’s dominance, Andorra’s goalkeeper, Iker Alvarez, made numerous crucial saves.
Andorra, struggling with 17 goals conceded and only two scored in their last 10 matches, faced early pressure. Alvarez denied Jude Bellingham’s shot within the first minute. england struggled to convert their attacking opportunities, with Ezri Konsa’s volley being blocked in the 18th minute.
Kane also experienced frustration when Alvarez saved his shot following Curtis Jones’ pass. Noni Madueke and Bellingham where key attacking players for England in the first half, with Alvarez again denying Bellingham’s powerful strike in the 34th minute.
