Champions League Roundup: Real Madrid, Bayern, and Liverpool Secure Wins

Four more matches were played in the first round of the Champions League in the time slot of 21:00. The current European champions, Real Madrid, beat Stuttgart 3:1, with Ermedin Demirović entering the game in the 75th minute.

The big derby was played at the San Siro between Milan and Liverpool, with the Reds winning 3:1. Milan took the lead in the 3rd minute with a goal from Pulisic, but Liverpool turned the tables by the end of the half. Konate scored to make it 1:1, then van Dijk scored in the 41st minute to take a 2:1 lead. Liverpool confirmed the victory with a goal from Szoboszlai in the 67th minute.

In the last game, Sporting defeated Lille on their home field with a score of 2:0. The scorers for the Portuguese were Gyokeres in the 38th minute and Debast in the 65th minute. Lille played with one player less than the 40th minute of the first half, considering that Gomes received the second yellow or red.
