Kanye West Faces Sexual Assault Lawsuit from Model Jennifer An: What You Need to Know

Kanye West Faces Sexual Assault Lawsuit from Model Jennifer An: What You Need to Know

November 22, 2024 Catherine Williams - Chief Editor Entertainment

Kanye West is facing serious allegations from model Jenn An. She claims that during a music video shoot in 2010, he choked her until she lost consciousness. Jenn, a contestant from cycle 13 of “America’s Next Top Model,” has filed a federal lawsuit against West.

In her lawsuit, Jenn states that Kanye chose her from a lineup, saying, “Give me the Asian girl.” The shoot took place at Chelsea Hotel in New York City. Jenn describes the experience as humiliating and dangerous. She alleges that Kanye took control, directing the scene to focus on her while she wore revealing lingerie.

According to Jenn, the situation escalated when Kanye began to strangle her with both hands. She claims he also covered her face with his hands and inserted his fingers down her throat, simulating forced oral sex. Jenn states this lasted for over a minute, and Kanye yelled, “This is art. This is f**king art. I am like Picasso.”

Jenn felt that the scene resembled pornographic acts and BDSM fetishes rather than a music video shoot. Her lawsuit targets Kanye and Universal Music Group, accusing them of gender-motivated violence.

Notably, Jenn mentions that the scene was not included in the final music video. She alleges that the record label and influential figures tried to conceal the incident.
