Guobin Hotel’s Floor Area Ratio Sparks Controversy
Kaohsiung City Councilor Qi Yuxuan expressed concerns over the floor area ratio of Guobin Hotel, which was deemed a dangerous old building by the Taipei City Structural Technicians Association.
The Kaohsiung City Government emphasized that the process is controlled at all levels and does not fear inspection, urging the outside world not to deliberately misrepresent the facts.
Urban Planning Land Use and Floor Area Ratio
The Kaohsiung City Government stated that the land use zoning where the Ambassador Hotel is located is Commercial 5, and the legal floor area ratio after conversion based on the construction base area of 6,698 square meters is 840%.
The city government insisted that the case was evaluated by the Taipei Structural Technicians Association and complied with the central regulations and regulations on the reconstruction of dangerous old people.
Response to Doubts and Concerns
