Kaprizov Injury Update: Kochetkov Out, Barbashev Shines with Eichel on Nov 24 – DobberHockey Insights

NHL Fantasy Hockey Updates

Marco Rossi‘s Performance
With Kirill Kaprizov injured, Marco Rossi stepped up for the Minnesota Wild. He scored a game-tying goal with just 34 seconds left in the game and added a power-play assist. If Kaprizov remains out, Rossi (17% rostered in Yahoo leagues) is a strong free agent pick up next week as the Wild play four games.

Blackhawks vs. Flyers Showdown
The highly anticipated matchup showcased Matvei Michkov and Connor Bedard, but Michkov outperformed Bedard. Michkov recorded one point in 17:17 TOI, while Bedard has now gone 12 games without a goal and five games without a point. Coach Luke Richardson is trying to adjust Bedard’s position, but it’s not yielding positive results. Bedard remains a hold in single-season leagues due to his potential.

Hurricanes’ Goalie Situation
Frederik Andersen is sidelined for 8-12 weeks after knee surgery. Pyotr Kochetkov left a recent game with an injury, which could require Spencer Martin to start if Kochetkov is out. Martin has shown effectiveness in short bursts. The Hurricanes might consider acquiring John Gibson if Kochetkov’s injury is severe.

Columbus Blue Jackets’ Offense
The Blue Jackets scored 19 goals in their last four games, continuing their offensive surge. Key contributors include Sean Monahan (7 points in 3 games), Zach Werenski (10 points in 5 games), and Kent Johnson (9 points in 6 games). Johnson registered two assists on Saturday and is a worthwhile waiver pick with only 7% Yahoo rostered.

Vancouver Canucks Updates
Quinn Hughes received a five-minute major for a hit but is not injured. Filip Hronek filled in on the top power play. Kiefer Sherwood is also worth considering for fantasy leagues after his continued performance, including points in four straight games.

Boston Bruins Coaching Change
Joe Sacco has two wins as the Bruins’ head coach. They have allowed only one goal in two games after struggling defensively. Jeremy Swayman rebounded with a strong performance on Saturday.

Other Key Performances

• Jake DeBrusk scored two goals and assisted another, feeding off Elias Pettersson’s resurgence.
• Linus Ullmark struggled recently; he may lose starts to Anton Forsberg as the season progresses.
• Dylan Guenther scored twice and added an assist for Utah, leading his team with nine goals.

Lightning and Oilers Updates
Anthony Cirelli scored both goals in Tampa Bay’s loss to Dallas, pushing him to score in five straight games. Meanwhile, Kasperi Kapanen made an impact by assisting Connor McDavid in his second game with the Oilers.

Final Notes

• Sam Reinhart extended his point streak to 13 games.
• Jonathan Quick allowed six goals in his latest game after two shutouts.
