Prince William and Kate to Host “Together at Christmas” Service
Prince William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, will host their annual “Together at Christmas” service at Westminster Abbey on December 11th. Prince William is scheduled to give a reading at the event.
Royal fans are eagerly anticipating a possible appearance from Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, alongside other members of the royal family.
The service will feature performances by Melua, Fisherman’s Friends, and Griff, as well as actor Hannah waddingham and Dan Smith from Bastille. Readings will also be delivered by Kate Winslet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Babatunde Aleshe, and Joe Locke, accompanied by pianist Paul Gladstone Reid.
This year’s service will celebrate individuals across the UK who have dedicated their time to helping others and building community. Guests will witness candles lit by people William and Kate have met, and hear stories of those working to create a more caring society.
A festive display created by horticulturist Jamie Butterworth, emphasizing the importance of nature, will greet attendees. The Royal Horticultural Society will also donate wreaths made by ambassadors like Dame Mary Berry and schoolchildren.
