Apple Original Films will release Jonah Hill’s dark comedy “Outcome,” starring Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz, Matt Bomer, and Hill himself, globally on Apple TV on Friday, .
The announcement came during the 2026 Apple TV Press Day, where Apple unveiled first-look images from the film. “Outcome” centers on Reef Hawk, portrayed by Reeves, a celebrated Hollywood actor whose carefully constructed life is thrown into turmoil when he’s blackmailed with a compromising video. The film explores Hawk’s journey as he confronts his past in an attempt to identify the blackmailer and salvage his career.
According to a press release, Hill’s direction brings a “unique lens” to the story, framing it as a “wild but spiritually cleansing, nostalgic and eye-opening trip down memory lane.” Reef Hawk isn’t navigating this crisis alone. He’s supported by his lifelong friends, Kyle (Diaz) and Xander (Bomer), and his crisis lawyer, Ira Slitz, played by Hill.
The ensemble cast also includes a notable array of talent: Martin Scorsese, Susan Lucci, Laverne Cox, David Spade, Atsuko Okatsuka, Roy Wood Jr., Kaia Gerber, and Ivy Wolk. The film was co-written by Hill and Ezra Woods.
