Coast-to-coast Tribute: House Passes Bill to Designate U.S. Route 20 as National Medal of Honor Highway

WASHINGTON,D.C. – in a bipartisan show of support for America’s bravest ‌heroes, the U.S. House of Representatives on Monday passed legislation to designate U.S. Route 20 as the National Medal of Honor Highway. The⁤ bill, championed by Rep. U.S. Route 20, stretching over 3,000 miles ⁢from Massachusetts to Oregon, will serve as a poignant reminder of the remarkable sacrifice and courage these individuals displayed.

“By designating U.S. Route 20 as the ‘National Medal of Honor Highway,’ we commemorate all Medal of Honor recipients, both living and passed,” said Rep. Kelly. “It’s my sincere hope that the millions who travel this highway each year will take a moment to reflect on the⁤ legacy⁤ of these heroes.”
