The strategy to raise the necessary funds was detailed during a jailhouse phone call between the couple on March 25. During the conversation, Kendra and Joseph discussed various personal belongings that could be liquidated to generate immediate cash.

Liquidation of Assets and Rental Plans

The couple identified several high-value items for sale to help cover the bond. The list of assets discussed during the March 25 call included a number of trailers, a four-wheeler, a wood splitter, a pressure washer, and a waterproof tarp.

Beyond the sale of physical goods, Kendra informed Joseph that she had moved the majority of her belongings out of their home. This move was part of a plan to open the property to renters, which the couple discussed as a means of establishing a steady stream of income to support their current financial situation.

During the same March 25 phone call, Kendra shared the physical toll the moving process had taken on her. She asked Joseph to pray for my health, noting that she had been experiencing significant fatigue over the preceding two days.

Kendra told her husband that she couldn’t move after moving the stuff downstairs the previous day, describing the sensation of her body turning off like a weighted blanket.
