Keyshawn Davis, a silver medalist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, isn’t seeking to join any supergroup of boxers. As the boxing world searches for the next generation of stars, comparisons have been made to legendary groups like the “Four Kings” of the 1980s.However, Davis, known as “The Businessman,” prefers to stand alone.
Davis believes his path is unique. He notes that many of the fighters he’s compared to, including Gervonta “Tank” Davis, Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney and Teofimo Lopez Jr., turned professional years before him. He sees himself as hunting them down, not as an equal in an already established group. Davis is resolute to become boxing’s next pound-for-pound king and a major pay-per-view attraction.
