Worcestershire County Cricket Club has signed Pakistan seamer, Khurram Shahzad, to strengthen their bowling attack. The 25-year-old, with 20 Test wickets to his name, is set to join the team from July 4 until the season’s end. This move will see Shahzad, a talented Pakistan seamer, replace New Zealand fast bowler Jacob duffy, who departs at the end of June.
Shahzad’s availability extends across several key competitions. he is slated to participate in the final five County championship matches,the One-Day Cup campaign,and at least the last six group games of the T20 Blast. This provides worcestershire with a significant boost in their pursuit of silverware across multiple formats.
“Joining a club like Worcestershire and getting the chance to enhance my skills is something I am really excited by,” Shahzad said.
