A total of 22 U9, U10, and U11 players from Shandong, Henan, Anhui, Xinjiang, Beijing, Shanghai and other provinces and cities will compete in a three-day fierce competition to compete for the annual championship.
The “Luneng Cup” National Children’s Football Invitational Tournament is a traditional annual brand event for youth football created and hosted by Shandong Luneng Taishan Football School in 2001. It aims to build a platform for young people across the country to communicate and improve together, and to provide a platform for Shandong Taishan Football Club and the country to select and train more outstanding football players.
The competition system of the 2024 “Luneng Cup” Children’s Football Invitational Tournament has been further upgraded. It adopts a three-level competition system structure and has set up North and South sub-station competitions, North and South competitions and national finals. The North and South divisions will determine the top three in the division through sub-station competitions and advance to the North and South Competition; The North and South Divisions will determine the champions of their respective divisions through a competition, and will eventually meet up with Shandong Luneng Taishan Football School for the finals. A total of 8 U9, 8 U10 and 6 U11 teams participated in the finals. Shandong Luneng Taishan Football School sent a total of 5 teams to participate in the competition in 3 groups. In the first match of the U10 group that morning, Shandong Luneng Taishan Football School Team 2 defeated Hefei Glory Football Club 2:0 and got off to a good start.
