Kick-Off to Inclusion: JIFF Promotion Weeks 2024 Campaign Launches This Friday, September 27th
The Japan Inclusive Football Federation (JIFF) has designated the two weeks from Friday, September 27th to Friday, October 11th, 2024 as “JIFF Inclusive Promotion Weeks 2024” to coincide with World Cerebral Palsy Day on October 6th and World Mental Health Day on October 10th. During this period, the Federation will raise awareness of both international days, and take various actions to create opportunities to deepen understanding of disabilities and mental health, as well as opportunities for people and children with disabilities to experience disability football and meet disabled football players, thereby promoting the realization of a society of inclusion through football.

Initiatives related to World Cerebral Palsy Day
①[Anyone can participate]Green Photo Campaign (September 27th to October 6th)
Based on the theme of “green,” the symbol color of World Cerebral Palsy Day, the general incorporated association Get in touch in Japan has designated this day “Warm Green Day (WGD)” and is carrying out various initiatives. JIFF also supports this initiative, and asks many people to upload photos of themselves wearing “green” on social media with the hashtag “#JIFF_WG2024” (WG = Warm Green), to liven up Warm Green Day for disabled soccer as a whole and to spread the word about the vibrant image of disabled soccer.
■How to participate: Between Friday, September 27th and Sunday, October 6th, 2024, teams, organizations, and individuals should post a photo of themselves wearing something green on their social media accounts (X, Instagram, Facebook) with the hashtag “#JIFF_WG2024” (WG = Warm Green).
The collected photos will be published on a special page on the JIFF official website.
World Mental Health Day Initiatives
②[General recruitment]Held on Tuesday, October 1st
Online exercise program for people with mental disabilities
With the cooperation of club teams participating in the Tokyo Inclusive Collaboration Conference, we will create an online opportunity for people with mental disabilities to learn about and encounter “social football” while enjoying exercise. A Tokyo Verdy coach will be facilitating the program on the day.
■Date and time: October 1 (fire) 14:00~14:45
■Method of holding: Online Zoom
■ Target: People with mental disabilities, or psychiatric day care centers, group homes, and employment transition support centers used by people with mental disabilities
*You can join as a group on the day from any of the spaces, such as “Psychiatric Day Care” or “Disability Continuation and Transition Support Center.” You can also join as an individual from your home.

“Disabled Soccer Player Exchange Program” for people and children with disabilities
We will invite CP Soccer and Social Football players as guests and hold a program where people and children with disabilities can interact with the players while exercising. This time, it will be held as part of the Minato Ward Sports Open to Everyone project, which is being implemented as part of the Minato Ward Cooperation Agreement.
■Date and time: October 9 (water) 17:00~18:20
■ Venue: Minato Ward Sports Center, 5F Sub-Arena
■ Target: People with disabilities and children (maximum of 20 people)

④JIFF Inclusive Education Program “CP Soccer/Social Football” Class
During the campaign period, active CP Soccer and Social Football players will serve as lecturers in some classes of the “JIFF Inclusive Education Program” for elementary and junior high schools to raise awareness about World Cerebral Palsy Day and World Mental Health Day.
