The TH!NK THE BALL PROJECT, in collaboration with Omiya Ardija, the J.League, and NTT Group, presents the Sustaina Cup. This exciting initiative aims to make climate action a habit while having fun.

What is Sustainer Cup?

The Sustaina Cup uses a familiar cup format to engage fans and supporters in climate action. Through the smartphone app “fowald,” participants can earn points (act) by completing “target quests” such as answering climate-related quizzes and posting photos of eco bags/eco bottles. These points are added to the J clubs they support.

The top three clubs will receive activity support funds, with the overall goal of reaching 10,000 participants in climate action. When this goal is achieved, the J.League and NTT Group will plant trees.

Our Mission

By participating in the Sustaina Cup and taking climate action, we can help solve climate change issues and revitalize the region. At Omiya Ardija, we are committed to addressing environmental issues and working towards a carbon-neutral society.

Event Overview

How to Participate

  1. Download the “fowald” app from the official website.
  2. Participate in the target quest from the special page.
  3. Earn points (act) and add them to your favorite club.

Event Period/Section

November 5th (Fire) ~ November 30th (Earth)

Section 1: November 5th (Fire) ~ November 10th (Sunday)

Section 2: November 11th (Month) ~ November 17th (Day)

Section 3: November 18th (Month) ~ November 24th (Sunday)

Section 4: November 25th (Month) ~ November 30th (Saturday)

About Club Rankings

When fans and supporters of each club clear the quests for the Sustaina Cup, they will receive a numerical value called act. The acts of each club are aggregated and displayed in real time.

Points will be awarded in order of clubs with the highest total number of acts at the end of each section (1 to 15 points). The top three clubs with the most total points from Rounds 1 to 4 will receive activity support funds.

1st place: 2 million yen

2nd place: 1 million yen

3rd place: 500,000 yen

What is TH!NK THE BALL PROJECT?

Our goal is for J.League fans and supporters to “know what to do,” “enjoy what they do,” and “want to invite people around them” to support their favorite club through daily climate action. We aim to develop a system and provide it through smartphone apps, etc.
