Controversy Surrounds Bakery Linked to Football Association
A small bakery has found itself at the center of a controversy involving the Football Association, despite having no connection to the sport.
A bakery, known for its association with national football team coach Hong Myung-bo, has spoken out about the negative impact of the controversy on its business.
During a National Assembly Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee investigation into the Korea Football Association, a lawmaker questioned the location of an interview between coach Hong Myung-bo and General Lee Im-seung, director of the Korea Football Association. The director replied that the meeting took place at a bakery near his home.
The bakery’s owner has since spoken out about the negative impact of the controversy on their business, stating that they have received malicious comments and bad reviews on their social media and review platforms.
The owner emphasized that they have no ties to the football world and that their relationship with coach Hong Myung-bo is purely friendly. They expressed concern that the negative publicity is harming their business and affecting their reputation.
