Welcome to PPK Walking Football Club (PPKWFC), where we’re passionate about promoting health, social participation, and fun for people of all ages through the exciting sport of walking football.

The 260th “Walking Football Meeting” – A Fun-Filled Event

Our recent event, held on Tuesday, August 27th, was a huge success, with 13 participants enjoying a day of walking football under the “Anyone Can Challenge! Walking Football” rules.

The event took place at the Ichikawa Ekiminami Community Center in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, where we utilized a small basketball court on the third floor.

What is Walking Football?

Walking football is a variation of soccer that’s played on foot, with an emphasis on fun and enjoyment for all participants. To make it accessible to everyone, running and physical contact are prohibited. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a complete beginner, walking football is an excellent way to stay active, improve your health, and meet new people.

Event Program

Our event program included a range of activities, such as:

• Radio calisthenics No. 1
• Ankle training
• Walking (6km/h, 10m in 6 seconds)
• Cognisize (A walking game about the Yamanote Line throughout history)
• Two people can stop it
• Bird Cage 4 vs 2
• Life Kinetic Divide into 3 teams and name pass
• 5-player game: Divide into 3 teams and rotate for 5 minutes

In the five-a-side game, we introduced a special rule to discourage strong shots, which added an extra layer of excitement to the game.
