Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to explore the aspects of implementing fun elements by type of YouTube Taekwondo content. To this end, YouTube Taekwondo content is classified and fun elements are analyzed by type to identify the implementation patterns of fun elements in content using Taekwondo on the YouTube platform. In this paper, the top 50 most viewed videos searched for Taekwondo on YouTube were focused. Then, YouTube Taekwondo content was categorized and the fun factor aspects of each type were derived. As a result of the study, YouTube Taekwondo content was categorized into education, lifestyle, review, entertainment, kids, and performance, and the most influential was the performance type. The core fun elements of YouTube Taekwondo content are ‘interpersonal interaction’ and ‘empathy’, which are caused by the communication characteristics of YouTube.
