Luoyi “Yu” Jiancunchao Football Friendly Match: A Cultural and Sports Integration Feast
The “Walking in Henan and Understanding China” Luoyi “Yu” Jiancunchao Football Friendly Match was held in Luoyang on the evening of September 7. The event brought together the top IPs of Luoyi Ancient City and Guizhou Village Super League, showcasing a unique blend of cultural, sports, and tourism integration.
The event kicked off with performances of ”Dali Wang Lion Dance and Dragon Dance” and “Sui and Tang Dynasty Hundred Plays.” The lion dance and Sui and Tang Dynasty songs, dances, and acrobatics set the tone for an exciting evening.
The participating teams and performers entered the venue in a formation, showcasing their unique regional characteristics. The Guizhou Village Super Formation included the Dong ethnic group’s big song formation, the Miao ethnic group’s Lusheng dance formation, and the Guizhou Village Super Football Team formation. The Luoyi Ancient City formation included the Hanfu Restoration Show, the Twelve Flower Goddesses formation, the Luoshen Fu formation, the Shaolin Kung Fu Football formation, and the Luoyi Ancient City Football Team.
Zhao Shuzheng, secretary of the Laocheng District Committee of Luoyang City, announced the start of the match. Zhou Xin, deputy secretary of the Laocheng District Committee of Luoyang and district head, highlighted the importance of cultural tourism in the Laocheng District and the role of sports events in promoting local economic and social development.
Peng Hui, member of the Standing Committee of the Rongjiang County Party Committee and deputy county magistrate of Guizhou Province, emphasized the significance of the event in promoting cultural exchange and mutual learning between Luoyi Ancient City and Guizhou Village Super League.
The Luoyi Ancient City Football Team and Guizhou Village Super Football Team engaged in a passionate duel on the green field, with Luoyi Ancient City Football Team emerging victorious with a score of 3:1.
During the half-time break, the Dengfeng Tagou Martial Arts School’s “Shaolin Kung Fu Soccer” and the world-class intangible cultural heritage project of the Dong ethnic group’s song “The World is Full of Love” were performed, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region.
Outside the venue, the cultural and creative intangible cultural heritage market offered a dazzling display of cultural charm.
In the evening, a series of performances, including Heluo drum, Miao Lusheng dance “The Joy of Harvest,” Hanfu restoration show, and song and dance “Huaxia,” showcased the rich cultural heritage of the region.
The event concluded with a Hanfu dance disco, where the audience entered the stadium in Hanfu, exchanging and integrating Central Plains Heluo culture and Guizhou ethnic culture.
From September 8th to 9th, activities such as Hanfu study + cultural experience and exchange and sharing sessions will be held.
