Empowering Young Athletes: The 2024 Teikyo University Cup Boys⁣ and Girls Futsal‌ Tournament

The 2024 Teikyo University Cup Boys and Girls Futsal Tournament was​ held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the Teikyo University ⁢Hachioji Campus Athletics Stadium in Hachioji City, Tokyo. This exciting event was designed for children in fourth grade and younger, providing a platform‍ for young athletes to showcase their‌ skills and​ passion for futsal.

Sponsored by the University’s Sports Bureau, the tournament was mainly organized by members of the Soccer Club of the Athletics Department of the University’s Alumni Association. A total of 16 teams participated in‌ the round-robin⁢ match, including soccer teams from Hachioji City, Hino City, and Tama City.

The event kicked off with an opening greeting⁣ from Masayuki Iwade, director of the sports bureau, followed by a soccer clinic conducted by the Soccer Club of the Sports Bureau of the Alumni Association of⁤ Teikyo University. This interactive session ⁣allowed for direct engagement between university⁢ students and local children, creating a lively and heated atmosphere.
