‘Lovestruck in the City’ Captures Hearts of Global Movie Fans
The movie ‘Lovestruck in the City’ has successfully completed its official screening and Q&A event, which took place on the 13th and 14th (local time). Director Lee Eun-hee and lead actors Kim Go-eun and Noh Sang-hyun attended the event, engaging with global audiences and sharing their experiences.
The sold-out screenings and packed Q&A session demonstrated the film’s immense popularity. Audience members posed a variety of questions, ranging from the differences between the original novel and the film to the actors’ motivations for participating in the project.
Director Lee Eun-hee discussed her approach to adapting the original novel, stating, “I chose to portray Jae-hee and Heung-soo as individuals who maintain a balance in their lives, looking at each other and living their own lives.”
Kim Go-eun revealed her reasons for taking on the role of Jae-hee, saying, “Jae-hee has many vulnerable aspects and wounds. I was drawn to her actions and wanted to express them well.” Noh Sang-hyun expressed his affection for the movie, highlighting the script’s honest and charming portrayal of Heung-soo’s journey.
‘Lovestruck in the City’ tells the unique love story of Jae-hee, a free spirit, and Heung-soo, who keeps his distance from the world. The movie follows their journey as they navigate life’s challenges together. It is set to be released on October 1st.
