‘King of the Hill’ Voice Actor Jonathan Joss Killed in Hate ⁢Crime

Jonathan Joss, the voice actor best known for his role as john redcorn on “King of the Hill,” died Sunday in what his husband‌ describes as ⁣a hate ‌crime. Tristan⁣ Kern ​de⁢ Gonzales ⁢issued a statement detailing the tragic events that led to the shooting.

According to de⁢ Gonzales, the couple was checking‍ mail at the site⁢ of their ‌former​ home, which had previously⁤ been ‍destroyed by arson after years of threats. They discovered a⁤ dog’s skull and harness,‍ causing them notable emotional distress. A⁤ man, later⁢ identified as sigfredo Alvarez-Cega, ​approached them and began yelling homophobic slurs before⁣ firing a gun.

Alvarez-cega was arrested​ and charged with murder.The death of Jonathan Joss, a ⁣prominent voice in the entertainment‍ industry,⁣ has⁤ sparked outrage and renewed calls for action ​against‌ hate crimes.

Joss also‍ played​ Chief‌ Ken Hotate on “Parks ‌and ​Recreation.” ‌He had recorded lines for the upcoming “King of the Hill” revival on Hulu.

“Jonathan is my husband. He gave me more love in​ our time together than most people ​ever ⁣get… He was murdered ⁤by someone who could not stand the sight of two men loving each⁤ other,” ⁤de Gonzales saeid.
