‘Kingdom Come: Deliverance II’ Film to Premiere at Karlovy Vary

The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival will host the world premiere of a cinematic version of the popular video game, Kingdom come: deliverance II. The special screening is scheduled for July 9 at 7 p.m. in Kaiserbad,Czech Republic.
Karel Och, the festival’s artistic director, expressed honor in showcasing the project, calling it an “exceptionally original contribution” to storytelling. the festival, a key event for video game cinematic adaptations, runs from July 4-12.
Warhorse studios, the game’s developer, will also participate in a KVIFF Talk earlier that day at 3:30 p.m. in Kaiserbad, featuring directors Daniel Vávra and Petr Pekař. The Kingdom Come: Deliverance II premiere marks a notable crossover between gaming and film.
