A recent aeromodelling competition showcased the talents of young aviators in two distinct categories: ⁢racing models and “Copia” models. the event challenged participants to demonstrate both speed and artistry in their model aircraft designs and piloting skills.

Racing Models: Speed⁣ and Accuracy

In the racing models class, competitors faced the challenge of completing 50 laps as quickly as possible, wiht‌ a mandatory 5-second landing adding a ⁢layer of complexity to the race.

Copia Models: Realism and Aerobatic ⁤Prowess

the Copia models category focused on realism and the quality of aerobatic maneuvers. Judges evaluated the accuracy of the model’s appearance and⁢ the similarity of its flight characteristics to a real aircraft.

Participants in the Copia models class perform the same figures as in⁣ real aircraft: a ‌flight during landing, a conveyor, ⁣45 degrees. Such as, the “conveyor” figure is a landing of the aircraft followed by take -off: the athlete goes to a decrease, concerns the ground, rides in the strip without stopping and then takes off‍ again. The figure of ⁢“45 degrees” ⁣is a flight in a large roll,‌ practically over itself.

Award Ceremony

Winners in both categories were recognized ⁤for their achievements with diplomas,‌ medals, and prizes.

Copia Models Winners

The ‌following individuals were recognized for their achievements in the Copia Models category:

  • Students 10-13 years: ‍ Ignat ushatov, House of Children’s Creativity of the Yaransky District
  • Students 14-18 years: Timofei Shulepov, Center for Technical Creativity

Racing Models Winner

Elisha Obukhov from the Center for Technical Creativity emerged⁣ as the ‍winner in the ⁣Racing Models class.

Aeromodelling ⁤Competition: A Showcase of Skill⁣ and Precision

Are you curious about ‍the world of‌ aeromodelling? This article dives into a recent competition where young aviators put their ⁢skills too the‌ test. Let’s explore the highlights!

What is Aeromodelling?

Aeromodelling is the art, sport, ‌and hobby of designing, building, and flying model aircraft. These models can range from simple⁤ gliders to complex‍ radio-controlled airplanes, representing a wide spectrum of skill, creativity, and technical expertise.

What Happened at the Recent Aeromodelling Competition?

A recent aeromodelling competition featured young aviators demonstrating their talents in two exciting categories:⁢ racing models and “Copia” models. The event challenged⁣ participants to showcase both speed and ⁤artistry in their model aircraft designs and piloting skills.

What are Racing Models ‌in Aeromodelling?

What are the key challenges in Racing Models?

In the racing models ⁣class, speed and ⁤accuracy were paramount.Competitors were tasked with ‌completing 50 laps as⁣ quickly as ⁢possible. The added challenge of a mandatory 5-second landing‍ added another layer of complexity to the race, testing the pilots’ precision and control.

What are ⁤Copia Models in Aeromodelling?

What are Copia Models⁤ Judged on?

The Copia models category focused on ‌realism and the quality of aerobatic maneuvers. Judges carefully evaluated the accuracy of the model’s appearance, mimicking a⁢ real aircraft, and how well its flight characteristics resembled a full-sized plane. This category emphasizes artistic skill and the pilot’s ability to⁢ replicate complex aerial feats.

What Kind of Aerobatic Maneuvers Are Performed in Copia Models?

Participants in the copia models category performed maneuvers similar⁣ to those seen in real aircraft. These included:

Flight during landing: Smoothly executing the ‍approach and touchdown.

Conveyor: A landing⁣ followed immediately by takeoff. The aircraft touches down, rolls ‌along the ground⁣ without stopping, and then takes off again.

* 45⁤ degrees: Flying in a large roll, where the aircraft rotates approximately 45 degrees (or more precisely, the angle of roll)⁤ about its longitudinal axis.

Who Judged the Competition?

The competition‌ was judged by experts. “Participants ‍in the Copia models class perform the same figures ⁢as in real aircraft: a flight during landing, a conveyor, 45 degrees,” stated⁤ Nika Obukhova, a member of the judicial college ‌of the competition, emphasizing the high standards ‌and ⁢technical knowledge ‍applied.

What Did the Winners receive?

How were the Winners Recognized?

Winners in both the Racing Models and Copia Models categories were recognized⁤ for their achievements. Awards⁤ included diplomas, medals, and prizes.

Who Won the Aeromodelling ‌Competition?

Who Were the Winners in Each Category?
