Kiyan Anthony, ​son ⁣of Basketball Hall of Famer Carmelo⁣ Anthony, is preparing for college basketball at Syracuse ⁣University. The four-star guard recently graduated from Long ⁣Island Lutheran High School.

Anthony, ranked 36th⁢ in the 2025 ESPN 100, celebrated his graduation with family, including his father and mother, actress LaLa‌ Anthony. The ceremony featured banners ‌of Kiyan in a Syracuse jersey.

Carmelo Anthony shared his pride on social media, noting his son’s accomplishment and future potential.

Kiyan committed to Syracuse in November 2024, making the announcement on his father’s show, “7PM in Brooklyn.” He chose syracuse as of the family atmosphere and⁤ the opportunity to forge his own path.

“From day one, ‌when they started recruiting me, ‌they made me feel like it was family,” Kiyan said. “My dad’s name on the facility⁣ is special, ‌but I want‍ to go in there and create my own name.”

During the⁢ 2024-25 season, Kiyan Anthony averaged 15.2 points for Long Island lutheran​ in the Nike EYBL ‌Scholastic ‌league, showcasing his skills as a⁣ top⁣ basketball‌ prospect.
