Kopyl State College Earns Top Honors, Prepares ​Students for Diverse Careers

KOPYL, Belarus (May 3, 2025) – The‍ Kopyl⁣ State⁢ College is celebrating its recognition as the top vocational education institution in the region, earning the award for “Best Institution of Education” for 2024. The college ‌also received a letter of commendation from the Ministry of education of the Republic of Belarus.

Six faculty members where awarded the “Excellence in Education” badge from the Ministry of‍ education, highlighting the ⁤dedication and expertise of the college’s instructors.

Wide Range of specialties Offered

Kopyl State College offers a diverse curriculum, ‍training students in various fields. Secondary specialties include​ agricultural equipment maintenance and repair, along with operational logistics. Students can earn qualifications as technician-mechanics, ⁢industrial training ‍masters, or operational logisticians.

The vocational education program features 10 specialties, including:

High demand for Graduates

Kopyl⁢ State College boasts a strong track record of‌ placing graduates in relevant jobs. ⁢According to the college, 100% of secondary specialized education graduates (182 individuals) and vocational education graduates (291 individuals) secured their first workplace‌ assignments in the past three years.

The college focuses on training personnel for organizations in ‌the agro-industrial complex,⁣ processing industry, trade, construction,⁤ and catering sectors. The student body comprises approximately 589 individuals.

In 2024, the college prepared and‌ released 180 ‌workers and specialists: 112 ⁤from vocational education programs and 68‍ from secondary⁤ special education. Notably, nearly 40% of vocational ⁢education graduates achieved a skill level of Category​ 4 or higher. All graduates were⁤ offered initial employment, with 80% accepting positions⁣ at organizations where ⁤they ​completed practical ‍training.

The college reports ​a graduate retention rate of⁤ 53.2%​ over the past three years. Enrollment targets for vocational, technical,⁢ and secondary specialized education have been consistently met from 2020 to 2024.​ Over 80% of daily budget-funded education​ is based on​ applications from organizations seeking‍ personnel. Targeted student recruitment efforts have resulted in ⁢69 individuals ​(nearly 20%) being⁣ admitted under targeted​ training agreements in the last three years.

Pleasant Learning Surroundings

Kopyl State College provides a complete learning environment. The facilities ‌include 27 training rooms, 16 workshops and laboratories, two computer labs, an energy competency center, a dormitory, an assembly hall, a libary, two​ gyms, a sports field, a cafeteria, a store, a first-aid⁣ station, and a driving range.

The college also houses the Ergan business company and the Kopylskoga district entrepreneurship support center. The “Honey Zaymka” ⁢project is also underway. Classrooms are equipped with modern technology, including ⁣LCD TVs,⁢ multimedia ​installations, interactive boards, computers, tablets, and interactive panels.

The dormitory ​features a spiritual and moral education ​room and ‌a youth leisure center called “Seventh Sky.”

Experienced Faculty

The ‌college​ employs 71‍ teachers, with 47 holding the highest or first qualification categories. Faculty members actively participate ⁤in innovative and experimental projects,including three republican projects. They also contribute to the ⁣progress of scientific and methodological resources for various specialties ‍and qualifications.

The college utilizes an “Electronic Methodological Cabinet,” teacher websites,and pedagogical communities to facilitate networking ⁤among teachers. These resources incorporate augmented reality elements ⁤via QR codes. Interaction⁢ with students is facilitated through file sharing on Google accounts,cloud services,online resources,messengers,social networks,interactive Genially presentations,PLICKERS,PADLET,SLIDO,Menti.com, and Classcraft.

In 2024, ⁣students and teachers received ‌40 awards in⁢ competitions: 14 at the‌ international level, four at the national level,⁢ and 22 at the regional level.
